Roger Worth, 64

Seabrook, S.C. - Roger P. Worth, 64, died Thursday, April 18, 2002 at Chandler Hospital in Savannah, Ga.

Services were held Tuesday, April 23, at Community Bible Worth Obit Church in Beufort, S.C. Interment was in Beufort National Cemetery.

Roger Petrie Worth was born on November 27, 1937 in Louisville, Ky., the son of Eugene Barnhardt and Lila Katherine (Petrie) Worth.

Roger and his family were Thief River Falls residents from 1970 to 1979. While living in Thief River Falls, he served as chief legal council for Arctic Cat. He also served on the Thief River Falls City Council and board of directors for the Sheltered Workshops. In 1982, Roger was inducted into the Minnesota Hall of Fame, receiving the Entrepreneurial Award.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Jo Worth; three daughters, Lisa Worth Kindwall of Seabrook, S.C., Laura Jean Bjerkebek of Andover, and Lucia Worth of Minneapolis; a sister, Katherine Magowan of Tucson, Ariz., a brother, Robert Worth of Janesville, Wisc.; and seven grandchildren.
