Bertha Wolff, 86 Bakersfield, Calif. - Bertha Wolff, 86, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at the Valley Convalescent Hospital in Bakersfield, Calif. Funeral services and interment were held on Friday, May 16 at the Karlstad Cemetery. All those who attended the service were honorary casketbearers. Bertha Ann Wolff was born on August 8, 1916, the daughter of Henry and Elisabeth (Weinrebe) Wolff, in Harding County, S.D. As a child, she moved with her family to Lind Township of Roseau County. In 1940, she moved to California and has made her home there ever since. Survivors include two brothers, Bob of Santa Maria, Calif., and Eddy (Betty) of Karlstad; two sisters, Clara (Lloyd) Hermanson of Karlstad, and Alice (Dick) Hobson of Oologah, Okla.; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
