Wojciechowski, 72
Roseau
- Harley Wojciechowski, 72, died on Thursday,
October 24 at the Roseau Area Hospital.
Funeral
services were held on Monday, October 28 at Oiland
Lutheran Church in rural Greenbush with Rev. LeRoy
Flickinger officiating. Music was provided by Donna
Graff and Bill Wagner. Casketbearers were Michael
Cimbura, Keith Wojciechowski, Donald Osse Jr.,
Kevin Wojciechowski, Lyndon Osse and Kurt
Wojchowski. Honorary casketbearers were all of
Harley's friends and veterans. Interment was in
Oiland Lutheran Cemetery with military honors
accorded by the Moen-Zimek Post #88, American
Legion of Greenbush.
Harley
John Wojciechowski was born on April 10, 1930, the
son of Harry and Hildegard (Grabanski)
Wojciechowski in Grand Forks, N.D. He grew up in
the Pelan and Greenbush areas. Harley served in the
U.S. Army during the Korean War fron 1953 to 1955.
He was a Tech Sergeant in the motor pool, where he
worked as a mechanic.
On
August 11, 1955, Harley married Delores Elaine
Melby in Greenbush. He worked in water and sewer
construction in various places in North Dakota and
then worked as a mechanic for Reese Construction of
Greenbush for many years.
Survivors
include his wife, Delores of Warroad; twelve
children, Roger (Sue) of Warroad, Debbie (Michael)
Cimbura of Greenbush, Theresa (Donald Jr.) Osse of
Greenbush, Terry (Cindy) of Thief River Falls,
Carol Wojciechowski of Roseau, Wayne of Roseau,
Greg of Greenbush, Stuart (Sara) of Badger, Daniel
of Greenbush, Mark of Greenbush, Diane Curfman of
Greenbush and Gloria (Stacy) Otto of Roseau; 27
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four
brothers, Richard (Della) of Warroad, Ordean
(Sheila) of Greenbush, Bill (Barbara) of Badger and
Dale (Linda) of Badger; and several nieces, nephews
and other relatives and friends.
Harley
was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers,
Edward and Lawrence; and one grandchild.
