Anne Supers, 85

Thief River Falls - Anne Supers, 85, died Thursday, January 3, 2002 at Valley Home in Thief River Falls.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10, at 11 a.m. at New Life Family Worship Center in Thief River Falls with Rev. George Bunnell officiating. Brenda Siirila will be the organist, and Julie Waterworth will be the soloist. Casketbearers will be Ervin Strandquist and Don Eaton. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Lancaster.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today (Wednesday, January 9) at Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls and for one hour prior to services at the church.

Anne was born on March 22, 1916 in Lancaster, the daughter of Halvor and Ragnild (Halverson) Nyhus. Anne grew up in Minnesota, and while she lived in several states, her longing for this land and its people kept her coming "back home." She was married to David Supers, who preceded her in death in 1993.

Anne enjoyed decorating houses and music.

Survivors include a daughter, Dianne (David) Stephens of Concord, Mass.; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; a sister, Ellen Parsons of Minneapolis; and a niece.

In addition to her husband, Anne was preceded in death by her parents. A00003B2001JA09
