Donna Stepan, 70

Woodbury - Donna E. Stepan, 70, formerly of Thief River Falls, died on Sunday, September 29, 2002.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Stepan held on Wednesday, October 2 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Paul Park. Visitation will be held for 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1440 West Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL, 60607.

Donna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, but was most proud of her 44-year nursing career. After graduating from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls, she attended St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in Duluth. She worked at Miller, Divine, Redeemer and Bethesda Hospitals in the operating rooms and medical floors.

Survivors include her husband, Roy; children, Debra Monson of Seattle, Wash., Deone (Dave) Sahli of Hastings, Daryl Stepan of South St. Paul, Dr. Daniel Stepan of New Jersey and Dean (Terry) Stepan of Inver Grove Heights; eight grandchildren; sisters, Audry (Don) Gavin of Maplewood and Dolly (Harlan) Hallstrom of St. Hilaire.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Hannah Kisch and brother, Culver Kisch.
