Lake - Martha Jane "Marty" Skreland, 53, died
Friday, December 28, 2001 in Forest
Lake.
A
celebration of life service will be held on Sunday,
January 6, at Mattson Funeral Home in Forest Lake.
Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the
service.
Martha
Jane Skreland was born on June 22, 1948 in Thief
River Falls, the daughter of Gunsten and Alice M.
(Dahlen) Skreland.
She
was employed at the Margaret S. Parmly Home in
Chisago for 17 years and with the Red Cross. Martha
enjoyed working with and helping people and took
part in a 150-mile bike ride for multiple
sclerosis.
Marty
is survived by her children, Carla and Bryan Erzar
of Forest Lake, Bryant and Maribeth Cole, and
Heather and John Sandretto; six grandchildren;
three sisters, Anne (Wayne Tronnes) Traxler of
Plummer, Gloria (Bill) Niswonger of Yuma, Ariz. and
Marian (Don) Schiller of Grand Forks, N.D.; a
brother, Harold (Elaine) Skreland of Inver Grove
Heights; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and
nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her parents; a brother,
Walter; and a granddaughter, Stormie.
