Senum, 65
Thief
River Falls - Lila Senum, 65, died Thursday,
May 24, 2001 at her home in rural Thief River
Falls.
Funeral
services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, at
Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls
with Rev. Terry Olson officiating. Wanda Vigness
was the organist, and Vanessa Anderson was the
soloist. Casketbearers were Mark Skogerboe, John
Weets, Jason Hagman, Tom Eggerud, Glen Limesand and
Chad Hagman. Interment was in Bethlehem Cemetery in
Agder township of Marshall county with Green
Funeral Home of Thief River Falls in charge of the
arrangements.
Lila
Amy Limesand was born on April 10, 1936 in Thief
River Falls, the daughter of Harry E. and Clara
Josephine (Johnson) Limesand. She was baptized at
the Germantown Church. Lila grew up at Goodridge
were she attended school, graduating from Goodridge
High School in 1954. She was employed at Oakland
Park Nursing Home in Thief River Falls.
On
July 28, 1957, Lila was united in marriage to
Willie Gunder Senum. The couple made their home in
Agder township, rural Thief River Falls. Willie
died in 1998.
Lila
enjoyed going to garage sales, collecting dolls and
playing slot machines at the casino.
Survivors
include two sons, Gary (Marita) and Steven Senum,
both of Thief River Falls; three grandchildren; and
a brother, Leroy of Walla Walla, Wash.
Lila
was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter,
Cynthia Senum in 1960; her parents; a brother,
Marvin; and a sister, Pearl Iverson.
