Donna Schwanz, 63 Eagan - Donna (Hesse) Schwanz, formerly of Thief River Falls and Grygla, died April 20, 2004 from cancer. Donna was born January 24, 1941, at Mercy Hospital in Thief River Falls. She was baptized at Bethel Lutheran Church (LCMS), in Grygla, Minnesota. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Thief River Falls, and Concordia Lutheran College in St. Paul. She was church organist for 43 years, and taught Christian Day School for 3 years. She lived in Eagan. Survivors include her husband, Mel Schwanz; children, Daniel and Jeannie (Don) Williams; one grandson; one brother, Rev. Donley (Lois) Hesse, of Mena, Ark.; one sister, Daphne (Rev. John) Krueger of Minneapolis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, her parents and an infant brother. A00003B2004MY05
