Crookston
- Anna Rogers, 87, died Sunday, May 27, 2001 at
Riverview Nursing Home in Crookston.
Funeral
services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today
(Wednesday, May 30) at Riverview Nursing Home.
Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Crookston
with Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home of Crookston in
charge of the arrangements.
Visitation
will be held for one hour prior to
services.
Anna
Hendrickson was born on September 26, 1913 in
Spruce Grove township of Beltrami county, the
daughter of Frank and Ingrid (Blodstrom)
Hendrickson. She attended a country
school.
On
October 19, 1946, she was united in marriage to
Dwight Rogers at Grygla. The couple farmed in
Spruce Grove township. In 1979, they moved to Holt
and in 1980, to Crookston. Dwight died in January
of 1986, and on December 28, 1988, Anna entered
Riverview Nursing Home.
She
was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she
was baptized in November of 1997.
Anna
enjoyed bingo, spending time with family and
friends, knitting and working jigsaw
puzzles.
Survivors
include a daughter, Dianne Benson of Crookston; a
son, Francis (Carol) Rogers of Bemidji; two
grandchildren; two step grandchildren; a
great-granddaughter; a brother, Nels Peter
Hendrickson of Grygla; and several nieces, nephews
and other relatives.
Anna
was preceded in death by her husband; parents;
three brothers, Henry, Andrew and Elmer
Hendrickson; and two sisters, Carrie LaCourse and
