Wyo. - Kenny Robinette, 49, died Wednesday,
November 21, 2001 at his home in Gillette,
Wyo.
A
memorial service was held Wednesday, November 28,
in Gillette. Wilson Funeral Home of Gillette, Wyo.
was in charge of the arrangements.
Kenny
Dale Robinette was born on April 19, 1952 in
Elwood, Ind., the son of Thayer Arlin and
Georgeline Robinette. Following his 1971 graduation
from Burlington-Edison High School in Burlington,
Wash., Kenny enlisted in the Army, serving in the
special forces in Germany. He received two medals
and served two terms prior to his honorable
discharge.
In
December of 1975, he married Heidi Schmandt in
Germany. The couple had four children, Stephanie,
Kenny Jr., April and Joel.
In
1980, Kenny attended Northwest Technical College in
East Grand Forks where he studied auto
mechanics.
On
March 4, 1982, he was united in marriage to Judy
Fisher in Grand Forks, N.D. In 1984, the couple
moved to Gillette, Wyo. Kenny and Judy had two
children, Charity and James. Kenny worked for a
building center for seven years prior to October
28, 1994 when he began working as a conductor for
Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
He
enjoyed fishing in Key Hole Lake, hunting, playing
the twelve-string guitar, singing, landscape
painting, poetry and especially, spending time with
his family.
Kenny
is survived by his wife, Judy; three daughters,
April Rae (nee Robinette) Hoffman of Colorado,
Stephanie Lerol of Thief River Falls and Charity
Ann Robinette of Gillette, Wyo.; three sons, Kenny
Dale (nee Robinette Jr.) Hoffman and Joel Edward
Robinette, both of Thief River Falls, and James
Arlin Robinette of Gillette, Wyo.; his mother,
Georgeline Robinette of Bow, Wash.; a sister, Rose
Marie Robinette of Bow, Wash.; a brother Russell
Edward (Patricia) Robinette of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; a
grandson; and several nieces and
nephews.
He
was preceded in death by his father, grandparents
and several aunts and uncles.
