Susan Reynolds, 65 Red Lake Falls - Susan Reynolds, 65, died on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, July 26, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, with Father Tim Bushy presiding. Interment was held at Evergreen Cemetery in Red Lake Falls. Susan Carol Baril was born July 8, 1939 in Red Lake Falls, the daughter of Theophile and Myrtle (Demann) Baril. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls. Susan graduated from LaFayette High School in Red Lake Falls in 1957. Following High School she attended Bemidji University for one year. Susan also worked for one year at St. Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes, MN. Susan was united in marriage to Kenneth Reynolds on June 20, 1959 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The couple raised their family and Susan worked at Eckstein Department Store and Red Lake County Social Services, cleaning homes for the elderly. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Royal Neighbors and the Blue Line Club. Susan was a Cub Scout Leader, Girl Scout Leader and a skating teacher. She loved to play softball, figure skate, enjoyed reading, listening to sports, especially the Twins, Fighting Sioux of UND and Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and most of all, attending her grandkids activities. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth of Red Lake Falls; three children, Kevin (Deanne) Reynolds of Red Lake Falls, Barb (Arnie) Schmitz of Plummer and Kurt (Kristie Pesch) of Red Lake Falls; four grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Jean (Charles) Roehl of Corvallis, Mont.; three brothers, Richard Baril of Hopkins, James (Bonnie) Baril of Gunnison, Colo., and Jack (Sally) Baril of Little Canada; and several nieces and nephews.
