Wylma Radniecki, 85

Oklee - Wylma Radniecki, 85, died on Friday, November 22, 2002 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls. Radniecki, Wylma

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, November 26 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, with Rev. John Kleinwachter officiating and Rev. Joe Richards concelebrating. Mary Radniecki, Cindy Lambert and Emma Rustan were the organists and special music was provided by James and Nikki Juve and Sarah Radniecki. Casketbearers were Carl Berg, Kevin Berg, Eric Berg, Scott Lambert, Nathan Lambert, Tim Lambert, Scott Radniecki and Greg Radniecki. Interment was in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Oklee.

Wylma H. Stromberg was born on December 5, 1916, the daughter of Peter and Hilma (Carlson) Stromberg in Rosewood. She was baptized into the Catholic faith in 1939. Wylma graduated from Lincoln High School in 1934. On September 26, 1939, she was united in marriage to Casimir "Cobb" Radniecki in Plummer. The couple lived most of their lives on their farm in Deer Park Township. They moved to various cities with Cobb's job in construction. The last 33 years, they have lived in Oklee.

Wylma was proud of being a twin and having twin great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Country Gals bowling team and was very active in St. Francis Xavier Church and St. Ann's Society, was a bus driver, 4-H leader and a member of the Farmers Union and Deer Park Homemakers Club. Wylma enjoyed knitting, family get-togethers at Lake of the Woods, ice fishing, traveling, attending the Norsk Hostfest and other family get-togethers.

Survivors include her husband, Cobb of Oklee; daughters, Bonnie (Don) Berg of Erskine and Mary Ann (Richard) Lambert of Oklee; a son, Michael (Mary) Radniecki of Fargo, N.D.; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Vivian Gable of San Diego, Calif.; her twin brother, Willard (Myrtle) Stromberg of Red Lake Falls; three brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

Wylma was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Wallace; and two infant grandsons.
