Theodore Quale, Sr., 85

North Kansas City, Mo. - Theodore "Ted" J. Quale, Sr., 85, formerly of Thief River Falls, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at North Kansas City Hospital.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 8 at DW Newcomer's Sons White Chapel Funeral Home. Interment was in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Ted was born on August 18, 1917 in Thief River Falls. He was an avid golfer, hockey fan and enjoyed reading. He also enjoyed traveling and visiting family.

Survivors include his son, Ted J. Quale, Jr. (Pam) of Richland, Wash.; daughter, Susan Hanlin of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Ted was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Dorothy; brother Robert Quale; and sister, Peggy Larson.
