Stephen
- John Price died on Saturday, February 14,
2004 at the Karlstad Healthcare Center in Karlstad,
at the age of 83.
Funeral
services will be held at 
10:30
a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, at the St. Stephen
Catholic Church in Stephen. Interment will be held
at St. Stephen Cemetery in Stephen.
Visitation
will be held after 5 p.m., with a 6:45 p.m. Rosary
and 7 p.m. prayer service on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at
the St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stephen and one
hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
John
Thaddeus Price was born on February 3, 1921 to John
P. and Antoinette (Wilebski) Price in Augsburg
Township of rural Stephen. He attended rural
school.
He
was united in marriage to Rose Wozney on June 3,
1947 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. They made their
home in rural Stephen where they farmed. Rose died
in 1989. He retired from farming in 1990 but he
continued to help his son Robert as much as he
could.
He
loved farming, hunting and fishing.
Survivors
include his four children: Robert (Connie) Price of
Stephen, Linda (Julian) Stusynski of Strandquist,
Cathryn (David) Boilard of Maumee, Ohio and Donald
Price of Argyle; eight grandchildren; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
He
was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one
son, Thomas; and one daughter, Mary in 1972.
