Bemidji
- Delores Peterson, 65, died Sunday, April 22,
2001 at North Country Regional Hospital in
Bemidji.
A
memorial service was held on Thursday, April 26, at
Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji with Rev. Mike
Nelson officiating. Interment following cremation
was held in Jones Township Cemetery at rural
Solway.
Delores
Ann Costello was born on October 27, 1935 in Kansas
City Mo., the daughter of Morris and Elizabeth
Costello. She was raised and educated in Kansas
City prior to moving to Billings, Mont. with her
family when she as a teenager.
On
March 6, 1957, Delores was united in marriage to
Earl Peterson in Montana. They lived in Montana for
a short time before moving to Minnesota where they
raised their family. Earl died on July 24,
1981.
She
enjoyed painting, crossword puzzles and visiting
with friends.
Delores
is survived by four daughters, Bethany (Dave)
Norenberg of Cass Lake, twin daughters, Anna Adams
of Duluth and Marie (Dennis) Jenkins of Gray's
River, Wash., and Kathy Gehrke of Bemidji; a son,
Lyle (Missy) Peterson of Thief River Falls;
numerous grandchildren; three sisters, Margie,
Betty and Barbara; and two brothers.
She
was preceded in death by her husband and
parents.
