Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at Edgewood Vista in East
Grand Forks.
Mass
of Christian Burial was
held
Monday, May 10, at St. Joseph's Church in Red Lake
Falls, with Father Tim Bushy presiding and
Con-celebrant Gerald Noesen. Casket bearers
included her sons, Preston, William, Timothy,
Thomas, Jerry and Scott Meyers. Interment will be
at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Red Lake Falls.
Marjorie
was born March 28, 1927 in Bagley, to A.J. (Kelly)
and Molly Moran. She attended school in Red Lake
Falls, graduating from Lafayette High School in
1946. Her life's love was dancing, teaching at
Arthur Murray's in Minneapolis until marrying
William Persson August 28, 1951 in Red Lake Falls.
Always a devoted and loving wife, she was also the
proud mother of six children. Marge worked
primarily in the Health Care industry, with working
with developmentally disabled children, being the
most rewarding. She proudly followed her children
and grandchildren's varied sports and was an avid
Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan. Marjorie was a
devoted Catholic who would never dream of letting
her household miss a Holy Day of Obligation.
Survivors
include her husband William; son Preston (Mary) of
Williston, N.D.; son William (RuthAnn) of
Shorewood; son Timothy (Kimberly) of Crookston;
daughter Tamera (Scott) Meyers of Bismarck, N.D.;
son Thomas (Mary) of Fargo, N.D.,; son Jerry
(Teresa) of Crookston; brothers, Clayton of Thief
River Falls; Alvin of Red Lake Falls; Jim of
Australia one sister, Dorothy Page of Erskine; and
