River Falls - Thomas Osse, 80, died Sunday, May
23, 2004 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River
Falls.
Funeral
Services will be at 2
p.m.
on Friday, May 28 at Thief Lake Lutheran Church,
near Thief Lake with Rev. Jim Field officiating.
Interment will follow at Thief Lake Cemetery.
Visitation
will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 27 at
Johnson-Green Funeral Service with a 7 p.m. prayer
service.
Thomas
Osse was born June 4, 1923 in Stutsman County, N.
D. the son of Henry and Alice (Taylor) Osse. He was
baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. He
grew up and attended Middle River School.
Thomas
served his country in the South Pacific in the
United States Navy during World War II.
He
held various jobs throughout his life including
road construction, steel work in Wisconsin,
farming, worked at Polaris and also drove school
bus.
Thomas
enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a life member
of the VFW and was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors
include brothers, Alvin in Wannaska, Robert in
Milwaukee, Wisc., and Levi in Milwaukee, Wisc. and
many other relatives and friends.
He
is preceded in death by his parents; and sister,
Hazel.
