- Ivalo M. Ombler, 57, died on June 9, 2004 at
the Karlstad Healthcare Center.
Funeral
services were held on
Saturday,
June 12 at Collins Funeral Chapel in Karlstad, with
Pastor David Ingraham officiating. Casket bearers
include Brandon Kasprowicz, Paul Kazmierczak, Adam
Davis, Philip Kazmierczak, Christ Rud, Brian
Renstrom, Jeff Tanner and Dion Nelson. Interment
was held at Wikstrom Family Cemetery in
Strandquist.
Ivalo
Mildred Ombler, the daughter of John A. and Ruth
(Wikstrom) Harper, was born on March 28, 1947 in
Cleveland, Ohio. She attended school and grew to
womanhood there, and on June 21, 1975, was united
in marriage to John David Ombler in Cleveland. They
resided inCleveland for three years, and in 1978,
moved to Strandquist, Minnesota. Ivy attended
Northland College in Thief River Falls, earning her
LPN degree, and was employed at the Karlstad
Healthcare Center in Karlstad for several years.
Survivors
include one son, J.D. (Sara) of Strandquist; one
daughter, Ruth (Scott) Syverson of Karlstad; four
grandchildren; three brothers, Eugene, Ronald, and
Jack Harper, all of Cleveland, Ohio; in addition to
several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other
relatives, as well as a host of friends.
Ivy
was preceded in death by her husband this past
September, and her parents.
