Paul - Lois Olson, 49, died Wednesday, February
28, 2001 at Allina Hospice in Roseville.
Private
family services were held in St. Paul.
Lois
Helene Olson was born on March 12, 1951 at St.
Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids, the daughter of
Donald D. and Betty Lou (Nelson) Olson. She was
baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in
Thief River Falls. She attended school in Thief
River Falls, graduating from Lincoln High School in
1969. Lois then attended the University of
Minnesota, graduating in 1973. She was employed at
various homes for mentally disabled adults until
forced to retire due to illness.
On
May 6, 1976, Lois married Lance G. Erickson of St.
Paul.
Survivors
include her husband, Lance; two sons, Oliver and
Andrew; her mother, Betty Lou Olson of Thief River
Falls; a sister, Dianne Guessford of Thief River
Falls; her father-in-law, Lennert Erickson; two
brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law; and many aunts,
uncles and cousins.
Lois
was preceded in death by her father.
