Thule Norman, 92

Bagley - Thule Norman, 92, died on Monday, May 5, 2003 at the Greensview Care Center in Bagley.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 8 at the Solway Bible Chapel in Solway with the Rev. David Smith officiating.

Thule was born on August 18, 1910, the son of John and Margaret (Rydberg) Norman, in St. Hilaire. He graduated from St. Hilaire High School in 1929.

On June 14, 1945, he married Mayme Anderson in St. Hilaire. He farmed near Hazel for several years, worked on the Grand Coulee Dam and was a welder for Douglas Aircraft in California. He retired to Arizona, living in Apache Junction and Mesa. In February 1997, he and Mayme moved to the Villages of Bagley in Bagley. In June 1999, he made his home at Greensview where he has since resided. Thule was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt.

Survivors include his wife, Mayme of Havenwood Care Center in Bemidji; brothers, Lewis of Bemidji, and John of Bagley; and several nieces and nephews.

Thule was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Andrew, Edgar, George, Yngvie and James; and sisters, Ann, Minnie, Echo and Lillian. A00003B2003MY14
