Curtis Nordling, 52

Oslo &endash; Curtis Nordling, 52, died Friday, June 28, 2002 in a traffic accident near his rural Oslo home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 2 at Oslo with the Rev. Deborah Hanson officiating. Interment was in Oak Park Cemetery, Marshall County.

Curtis Marlen Nordling was born, February 23, 1950 at Warren, the son of Oscar and Frieda Anderson Nordling. He was a lifetime resident of the Oslo community. He graduated from Oslo High School, and Mayville Teachers College with a bachelor of science in secondary education. He was employed at the R. J. Simplot Co. at Grand Forks, N.D., at the time of his death.

Survivors include one son, Zachary of Alvarado, four sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret Ana Alfred Olson of Menomonie, Wisc., Sandy and Gordy Henrickson of Goodridge, Arlys and Ronald Korynta of Oslo and Patsy and Dale Rivard of East Grand Forks, and five brothers: Lee and Sheila Nordling of Oslo, Robert and Alice Nordling of Glennwood, Donald and Kim Nordling of Oregan City, Ore., and LeVern and Fred Nordling of Oslo. He was preceded in death by his parents.
