Audrey Y. Nesbit, 63 East Bethel - Audrey Y. Nesbit, age 63, of East Bethel and formerly of Blaine, passed away suddenly on July 27, 2004. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 1, 2004 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in East Bethel with Rev. Steve Melander officiating. Interment was in Fridsborg Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Strike Funeral Home &endash; Isanti Chapel. Audrey Yvonne Nesbit was born August 21, 1940 to Melvin and Eva Mattison of Baudette. She was raised near Rainy River and Lake of the Woods and graduated from Baudette High School. She also attended Thief River Falls Vo-Tech. After graduation she moved to Minneapolis to work for Ernst & Ernst. On July 22, 1961 Audrey married Frank W. Nesbit and to this marriage they brought five children. After raising them they established Independent Locomotive Service of Bethel and Thief River Falls in 1982. Her hobbies included gardening, reading, traveling with her husband, and various collectibles. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin and infant brother, Ronald. She is survived by her husband, Frank; children, Mark (Cindy), Mike (Nikki), Shaun (Teresa), Shane (Lynnae), and Tanya; 12 grandchildren; mother, Eva; brother, William (Claudia), and sister, Karen (Roger); and by many family and friends.
