Louise Myrfield, 78

Warren - Louise Myrfield, 78, died Monday, April 29, 2002 at Valley Eldercare in Grand Forks, N.D.

Funeral services were held at Myrfield obit 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Warren. Interment was in McCrea Lutheran Cemetery at rural Warren with Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren in charge of the arrangements.

Louise J. Kile was born on February 3, 1924 in Warren, the daughter of Albert and Lena (Holson) Kile. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Radium and attended and graduated from Warren High School.

On December 25, 1941, Louise was united in marriage to Oscar Myrfield in Warren. The couple resided and farmed in McCrea Township of Marshall County until 1957 when they moved into Warren. Louise worked at the Warren Jewelry and Gift Store and Good Samaritan Center. Oscar died on July 30, 1996.

Louise was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she was active in Priscilla Circle and served on the boards of UMCW and the Memorial committee. She was also very active at Landmark West where she had resided for the last six years, serving as chair of its council and planting flowers in the planters. She also played in the hand bell choir at Our Savior's Lutheran Church for two years.

She enjoyed baking, gardening, music, poetry, art, nature, and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Louise is survived by two daughters, Beverly (Richard) Karr of Warren and Marcia (Paul) Baynes of Coon Rapids; two sons, Curtis (Deborah) Myrfield and Darrell (Susan) Myrfield, both of Warren; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, and twin brothers. A00003B2002MY08
