Jayme Munter, 16

Munter_jaymeMiddle River - Jayme Lee Munter, 16, died on Monday, September 15, 2003 at his home in Middle River.

Funeral services were held on Friday, September 19 at the First Lutheran Church in Middle River with the Rev. Curtis Matz and the Rev. Don Braukmann officiating. Casketbearers were Kory Conway, Leah Conway, Tony Flaten, Dillon Berg, Isaac Kvasager, Shayne Munter, Nate Hesse, Angie Flaten and Zach Opdahl. Honorary casketbearers were Jayme's GMR junior classmates and co-workers at Hardee's. Interment was in Spruce Valley Cemetery in Middle River.

Jayme Lee Munter was born on November 18, 1986 inKarlstad, the son of Mervin and Vickie (McKeever) Munter. He was baptized at First Lutheran Church and attended the Middle River-Greenbush School. He worked at Hardee's in Thief River Falls.

Jayme enjoyed hunting, fishing, basketball, Play Station, lifting weights, working on his computer, listening to music, reading, playing the drum trap set and watching NASCAR racing, especially Bobby LaBonte. He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Middle River.

Survivors include his mother, Vickie of Middle River; his father, Mervin (Rosann) of Newfolden; one brother, Aaron Munter of Middle River; half brothers, Kevin Munter of Pinewood and Terry Munter of Bemidji; step-brother, Joshua (Sarah) Werb of South St. Paul; half-sisters, Lynn Johnson of Fosston and Melissa (Shane) Kvalevog of Dilworth; step-sisters, Mary Werb of Inver Grove Heights and Stephanie Werb of Inver Grove Heights; grandparents, Glendon and Bernice McKeever of Middle River and Ellen Munter of Fosston; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.

Jayme was preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin Munter; an uncle; great-grandparents; and a great-uncle. A00003B2003SP24
