Warren
- Marjorie Morken, 77, died Wednesday, May 22,
2002 at her home at rural Warren.
Funeral
services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May
25, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Warren.
Interment was in Comstock Cemetery in Comstock
Township of Marshall County with Quanrud-DuBore
Funeral Home in charge of the
arrangements.
Marjorie
Blanche Johnson was born on June 2, 1924 at Viking,
the daughter of Albert and Myrtle Johnson. She
attended school in Viking and Newfolden.
On July
2, 1944, Marjorie was united in marriage to Ervin
Morken at her parents home in Foldahl Township of
Marshall County. The couple resided in Comstock
Township of Marshall County. Marjorie worked at the
Marshall County assessor's office for many years.
After being trained as a home health aide in Thief
River Falls, she was employed for several years in
Marshall County.
Marjorie
was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and
VFW Auxiliary.
She is
survived by her husband, Ervin; two sons, Lyle
(Sherly) Morken of Springbook, N.D. and Paul
(Linda) Morken of Warren; three grandchildren; two
brothers, Dale (Darlene) Johnson of Bend, Ore. and
Franklin (Delphia) Johnson of Argyle; a sister,
Mavis (Othmar) Rymer of Chandler, Ariz.; two
sisters-in-law; and many nieces and
nephews.
