Anna Morisette, 87

Morisette-AnnaRed Lake Falls - Anna Morisette, 87, died on Friday, February 27, 2004 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday (today), March 3, 2004 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, with Father Tim Bushy officiating. Casket bearers include: Leonard Boucher, Martin DeHaan, Jim Bregier, Willard Bergeron, Larry Eckstein, Richard Gervais. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Red Lake Falls.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Anna Blanche Boucher was born on December 31, 1916 in Oklee, the daughter of Xavier and Emma (Martin) Boucher. She was baptized and confirmed at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee and attended Country School near Oklee.

Anna was united in marriage to Adelore Morisette on May 8, 1939 in Oklee. Following their marriage the couple moved to Portland, Ore., where they lived for five years and Anna worked at the sawmill. They moved back to Oklee and farmed for several years. Anna and Adelore sold the farm in 1967 and moved into Red Lake Falls, where they had since resided.

She enjoyed watching TV, especially her soaps and WWF wrestling.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Church Guild in Red Lake Falls. The couple was to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on May 8th, 2004.

Survivors include her husband, Adelore of Red Lake Falls; one daughter, Diane (Robert) Raymond of Crookston; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Florence (Maurice) Derosier of Oak Creek, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a step grandson; sister, Marian Lambert; and brothers: Charlie, Frank, Emil, Lawrence and Leonard. A00003B2004MR03
