February 7, 2002 at Knapp Medical Center in
Weslaco, Texas. Otis is a one-time resident of the
Thief River Falls area.
Visitation
was held on Saturday, February 9, at Buck Ashcraft
Funeral Home in Harlingen. Burial took place in
Mayfield, Ky. with Bryn Funeral Home in charge of
the arrangements.
Otis
V. Miller was born on September 23, 1918 in Murray,
Ky., the son of Roy and Mamie Miller. He was a
retired rancher and served in the U.S. Army during
World War II.
Survivors
include his wife, Shirley Miller of Harlingen,
Texas; two sisters, Annie Sims and Dean Hayden,
both of Mayfield, Ky.; a brother, Dorris Miller of
Arizona; a half sister, Janice Reed of Mayfield,
Ky.; and a half brother, Randell Miller of
