Duane Metcalf, 34 Thief River Falls - Duane A. Metcalf, 34, died on Saturday, April 12, 2003. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 19 at 11 a.m. at the Cascade Wesleyan Church in Jackson, Mich., with the Revs. Rodney Skinner and Ned McGrady officiating. Memorials may be made to the Cascade Wesleyan Church. Duane Metcalf, the son of Bob and Eva Metcalf, graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville. He was an engineer for Arctic Cat, Inc. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved music, played several instruments and played in the band, Almost Even. Survivors include his parents; one brother, David (Denise) of Jackson, Mich.; a niece; special friends, Kim Larson and her son, Brady; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A00003B2003AR16
