Joyce
Bennes was born on August 9, 1921 in Thief River
Falls, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bennes.
After graduating from Lincoln High School in 1939,
she attended Carlton College.
On
December 20, 1943, she married John Malmberg of
Fertile. John was a flight instructor in the Army
Air Corps. The couple moved to Graceville where he
was president of the bank. After retirement, they
moved to Palm Beach Shares, Fla.
Joyce
is survived by her husband, John; a son, Lee of
Scottsdale, Ariz.; three grandchildren; a sister,
Esther (John) Shelgren; and several nieces and
nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her parents; a sister,
Ruby Scanlan; a brother, Lloyd Bennes; and a
