&endash; Rebecca Ann (Hanson) Madsen, 43, of
Shoreview passed away Thursday July 11,
2002. 
Funeral
services were held at Babbitt Evangelical Lutheran
Church on Tuesday July 16, 2002 with interment at
Germantown Cemetery on Thursday July 18, 2002 at 2
p.m.
Rebecca
Ann Hanson was born on May 5, 1959 in Ely, the
daughter of Curtis and Edna Hanson, who lived in
Goodridge until 1955.
She
graduated from Babbitt High School in 1977. Was a
graduate of Anoka Technical College as a medical
secretary in 1978 and graduated from Hennepin
Technical College in 2001 as a health unit
coordinator.
Becky
has lived in the Minneapolis area since 1981. She
was an individual with diverse interests, as well
as an avid reader whose tastes spanned varied
subjects. She also enjoyed varied crafts and
ceramics and was a worldwide traveler. She was well
loved by her family and friends.
Survivors
include three sisters, Mari Lynn "Tootsie" (Jerry)
Smith of St. Louis Park; Jeanne (Richard "Rip")
Ripley of Coon Rapids; Donna Hanson (and Special
Friend Harry Burke) of Yorba Linda, Calif., nieces
and nephews, and many other relatives and friends,
many of whom live in the Goodridge and Thief River
Falls area. Becky was preceded in death by her
parents.
