- Osvalda "Joly" Lynch, 62, died Thursday,
August 23, 2001 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks,
N.D.
Funeral
services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 27,
at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee with
Father Gerald Noesen celebrating. Barb Melby was
the organist, and the soloist was Lori Melby.
Casketbearers were Richard Rahier, Leonard Rahier,
Russell Hince, Willard Hince, George Burthwick and
Scott Grove. Interment was in St. Francis Xavier
Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Service of Oklee in
charge of the arrangements.
Osvalda
"Joly" Bogado was born on October 13, 1938 in
Misiones, Argentina, the daughter of Carmelo and
Irene Benacia (Acosta) Bogado. She attended school
in Misiones, Argentina.
Joly
was married to LeRoy Lynch by a Justice of the
Peace in California on August 15, 1980. On
September 17, 1997, the couple was united in
marriage at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief
River Falls. Joly and LeRoy lived in numerous
locations around the world as he worked in tunnel
construction. They spent summer in Oklee and
winters in Argentina.
Joly
enjoyed quilting and growing flowers in her gardens
in Argentina and Oklee.
Survivors
include her husband, LeRoy and five sisters,
Teamiha, Bernaqbina, Santa Margarita, Lorenza and
Clotilde, all of Argentina.
She
was preceded in death by her parents and several
siblings.
