- Dorothy Lynch, 53, died Friday, August 10,
2001 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake
Falls.
Mass of
Christian burial was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday,
August 14, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in
Oklee with Father John Kleinvachter officiating.
Barb Melby was the organist, and Lori Melby was the
soloist. Casketbearers were Gary Bruggeman, Stanley
Bruggeman, Richard Bruggeman, Leroy Lynch, Bud
Kruse and Ann Dullea. Interment was in St. Francis
Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Oklee with Johnson
Funeral Service of Oklee in charge of the
arrangements.
Dorothy
Lynch was born on December 17, 1947 in Duluth, the
daughter of Frank and Dorothy (O'Brian) Lynch. She
was baptized in Duluth and confirmed in
Cambridge.
Dorothy
lived near Oklee until 1954. She then resided in
Brainerd, Cambridge and Fergus Falls. On June 12,
1990, she moved to Northwood Home in Red Lake
Falls, and on June 20, 2001, she moved to Hillcrest
Nursing Home.
She
enjoyed listening to music.
Dorothy
is survived by a sister, Vivian (Eugene) Bruggeman
of Thief River Falls, and a brother, Wallace
(Yolanda) Lynch of Park Ridge, Ill.
She was
preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Irene
Fossum; and three brothers, Raymond, Leslie and
Curtis.
