Lois Lund, 91

Warren &endash; Lois Lund passed away on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003 at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren at the age of 91.

Funeral services were held on Monday at the Grace United Methodist Church in Warren with the Rev. Mark Rittman officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Warren. Pallbearers included Ralph Kays, Loren Lendobeja, Tom Kays, Howard Godel, Marty Lendobeja, Homer Godel, Aaron Lendobeja.

Lois Kays was born on June 28, 1911 in McNab, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Minnie May (Bosley) Kays. She moved with her family in 1912 to Warren where she attended school. Lois was united in marriage to Alfred Lund in Crookston. They moved to Minneapolis, and returned to Warren five years later. She was a baker at the Northwest School of Agriculture and worked as a clerk at Rexall Drug in Warren for 24 years. Alfred died on September 10, 1961.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, past president of the U.M.W. and Circle at the church, past president of the Warren American Legion Auxiliary and a past officer of the Eastern Star.

Left to mourn her passing is a son, Robert N. (Doris) Kays of Santa Rosa, Calif., three grandchildren, Cheryl, Nancy and Robert B., nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sister, Mabel Weber of Illinois and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and four brothers. A00003B2002JA29
