Thief
River Falls - Helen Lund, 83, died Tuesday,
December 25, 2001 at Northwest Medical Center in
Thief River Falls.
Funeral
services were held at 3 
p.m.
on Friday, December 28, at Green Funeral Home in
Thief River Falls with Rev. John Wollenzien
officiating. Ida Nordvall was the organist, and the
soloist was Vanessa Anderson.
Helen
"Sis" Adolphson was born on October 8, 1918 in
Thief River Falls, the daughter of Elmer and
Bernice (Huseth) Adolphson. She attended school in
Thief River Falls, graduating from Lincoln High
School in 1936.
On
March 17, 1942, Helen was united in marriage to
Lloyd Lund in Nashville, Tenn. The couple traveled
extensively throughout the United States, going
wherever Lloyd's work in construction took
them.
Helen
enjoyed reading, sewing and gourmet
cooking.
Survivors
include her husband, Lloyd of Thief River Falls; a
brother, Loren (Lois) Adolphson of Minneapolis;
three sisters, Kathleen Adolphson of Thief River
Falls, Ann (Carl) Blasius of Fort Wayne, Ind. and
Joyce Hillyer of Minneapolis; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
Helen
was preceded in death by her parents; a sister,
Viola Buoen; and two brothers, Donald and Harold
