Louze, 94
Thief
River Falls - Hilda Louze, 94, died Friday,
March 29, 2002 at the CNC Unit of Northwest Medical
Center in Thief River Falls.
Funeral
services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday,
April 3) at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River
Falls with Rev. Timothy Bauer officiating. Ida
Nordvall will be the organist, and LeRoy Aasland
will be the soloist. Casketbearers will include
Doug Jenson, Brad Anderson, Ron Berglund, Jim
Cameron, Elling Iverson, and Scott Shetler.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Thief
River Falls.
Visitation
will be held for one hour prior to services at the
church. Green Funeral Home of Thief River Falls is
in charge of the arrangements.
Hilda
Bertine Nelson was born on May 29, 1907, the
daughter of Engebret and Thora (Loiland) Nelson.
She was baptized in the Lutheran faith. She grew up
in Thief River Falls, graduating from Lincoln High
School. She married Neary Louze on August 16, 1926.
He died in 1970.
Hilda
was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a
church circle.
She
was a seamstress and enjoyed working in the yard
and raising flowers.
Hilda
is survived by three daughters, Eileen (Bob)
Cameron of Ada, Dorothy (Lee) Berglund of Golden
Valley, and Sharon Mitterling of Northfield, Ill.;
seven grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.
In
addition to her husband, she was preceded in death
by her parents; four sisters, Mary Iverson, Tena
Martin, Olga Sheriff, and a sister in infancy; and
a brother, Norval Nelson.
