Violet Loffer, 95

Fargo, N.D. - Violet Loffer, 95, died Friday, October 3, 2003 at Elim Care Center in Fargo, N.D.

Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 10 at Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo, N.D. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery in Fargo, N.D.

Violet Adeline Ione Larson was born December 24, 1907, the daughter of Herman and Jennie (Berg) Larson. She attended Grand Forks High School.

Following her marriage to Myron Corbett, Violet worked at First National Bank and Trust Company (now Wells Fargo Bank) in Fargo, N.D. She left that company to move to Thief River Falls, where she resided during Myron's military service. Violet returned to Fargo, N.D. and First National Bank and Trust Company in 1945. She worked there for 42 years as a teller and customer service representative.

Survivors include her son James (Irene Bischoff) Fremstad, Fargo, N.D.; three grandchildren; and a great grandson.

Violet survived three husbands, Myron Corbett (died 1958), Martin Christian Fremstad (died 1974) and Marion Loffer (died 1996). She was preceded in death by her brothers, Benton James, Raymond, Stanley and Leslie "Bill".
