Forks, N.D. - Angela Loeslie, 78, died on
Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at the Valley Memorial
Home - Woodside Village in Grand Forks,
N.D.
Funeral
services were held on Saturday, April 12 at the
Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grand Forks. Interment
was in Greenwood Cemetery in Warren.
Angela
DeLorma Boutain was born on August 10, 1924, the
daughter of Albert and Dora (Landa) Boutain, in
Dorothy. She moved to a farm near Radium as a young
girl,where she attended country school.
On
January 9, 1944, she was united in marriage to
Benjamin David Loeslie in Radium. The couple made
their home in rural Radium, where they farmed. They
moved to Grand Forks in 1990. She was a member of
the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Radium and its
Ladies Aid and the Immanuel Lutheran Church of
Grand Forks. Angela loved spending time with her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed
reading, sewing, baking and canning. She also liked
flower and vegetable gardening.
Survivors
include her husband, Benjamin; five children, Karen
(Dale) Kifer of Starbuck, Holly (Bill) Porter of
Bloomington, Randy (Joni) of Grand Forks, N.D.,
Lane (Diane) of Warren, and David (Naomi) of Gold
Canyon, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren; three sisters, Alice St.
Michael of Fargo, N.D., Irene Mosbeck of Thief
River Falls, and Gladys Knutson of Solway; and many
nieces and nephews.
Angela
was preceded in death by her parents; an infant
daughter; two sisters, Tillie Kropp and Lily
Lizotte; and three brothers, Alder, Don and Marvin
Boutain.
