Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, with Reverend Mark Helgeland officiating.

Kim Allen Lindblom was born September 18, 1953 at Thief River Falls, the son of George and Grace (Mosbeck) Lindblom. He was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. He grew up and attended elementary school in Thief River Falls. Kim and his family moved to Mahnomen, in 1961 where he graduated in 1972 from Mahnomen High School. He lettered in football, basketball and also played tennis.

In 1974, Kim graduated from the University of Minnesota, Crookston, where he took business courses. After college, Kim moved to Milwaukee, Wis. where he worked for Cutler-Hammer. He returned to Thief River Falls in 1982. He worked in the office at Trident House and also drove cab in Thief River Falls for many years. He also worked at Discovery Place.

Kim's passion was photography. He loved fishing, walked everywhere, loved nature and especially liked baseball and hockey.

Kim taught Sunday School at St. John Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. He lived at Riverside Terrace in Thief River Falls for the last few years. He enjoyed the many friends he had and the times together with those friends.

Survivors include four brothers and sisters, Myrna (Russell) Lane of Thief River Falls, Douglas (Diane) Lindblom of Sundre, Alberta, Canada, Kent (Ann) Lindblom of Mahnomen and Jodi (Mike) Engelstad of Columbus, Ind.; six nieces and nephews; four great-nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by parents; niece, Deanna Lane and nephew, Dana Lane.
