Gerald E. "Jerry" Laundry, 64

St. Paul - Gerald E. "Jerry" Laundry, 64, formerly of Terrebonne, died on July 27, 2002 at his home in St. Paul.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 1 at the Church of St. Mark in St. Paul. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 31 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Willwerscheid & Peters Mortuary in St. Paul and for half an hour prior to services at the church.

Gerald E. "Jerry" Laundry, the son of Arthur and Lumena, was born and raised in Terrebonne and attended Lafayette High School.

Jerry served in the U.S. Navy on board the U.S.S. Massey 778 from 1957 to 1961. He was a heavy equipment operator for 41 years in Local Union #49 and was a member of the EAA Flying Club, chapter 54.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; children, Michael (Gretchen), Kevin (Dawn), Ann, and Robert; three grandchildren; a close family friend; two sisters, Arabelle and Eve Mae; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Those preceding Jerry in death were his parents; stepmother, Rose; siblings, Clarence, Lawrence, Jeanette, and infant twin, Jerome.
