Larson, Carol GF heraldThief River Falls - Carol Larson, 55, of Thief River Falls, died on Friday, March 26, 2004, at her home after a battle with cancer.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 30 at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, with Rev. Gary Johnson officiating.Casket bearers included all of Carol's nieces and nephews. Interment will be at Viking Cemetery in Viking at a later date.

Carol was born in Grand Forks, N.D. on January 28, 1949, to Irving and Dorothy (Czapiewski) Iverson of Olso. The Iverson family moved to Thief River Falls in 1958.

Carol married John Larson on February 18, 1967 at Oak Ridge Church.

She owned and operated Carol's Café in Thief River Falls from 1983 until recently when her health forced her to retire. She enjoyed traveling, fishing and camping, bingo and spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her husband, John of Thief River Falls; children, Crystal Larson of Minneapolis and Tracey Larson of Thief River Falls; brothers, Iver (Carol) Iverson of Bemidji and Alan (Tammy) Iverson of Grand Forks, N.D.; sisters, Nancy Harris of Neosho, Mo., JoAnn (Larry) Hurst of Thief River Falls and Cheryl (George) Brook of Bemidji; two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, LeeAnn Iverson. A00003B2004MR31
