River Falls - Mary Lane, 44, died on Sunday,
August 24, 2003 at her home in Thief River
Falls.
Funeral
services will be held at 
11
a.m. on Saturday, August 30 at River of Life Church
in Thief River Falls with the Rev. Troy Bates
officiating. Casketbearers will be Jeff Lane, Mike
Lane, Sam Lane, Chris Lane, Garret Panek and Randy
Knott. Honorary casketbearers will be all of Mary's
nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5
to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 29 at Johnson-Green
Funeral Home in Thief River Falls with a 7 p.m.
prayer service. Visitation will also be held for
one hour prior to services at the church on
Saturday. Interment will be in Landstad Cemetery in
Sanders Township.
Mary
Denise Lane was born on July 30, 1959 in Thief
River Falls, the daughter of Burton Llewellyn and
Genevieve Ione (Peterson) Lane. She grew up and
attended Lincoln High School and Northland
Community Technical School in the medical secretary
program. She was employed at Arctic Cat, the Mayo
Clinic in Rochester, Digi-Key and was a clerk at
Northern Lights Bookstore. Mary enjoyed crafts and
Bible studies.
Survivors
include children, Rosemarie LeMere of Glendale,
Ariz., and Ryan Lane of Bemidji; her mother,
Genevieve Lane of Thief River Falls; three
brothers, Llewellyn, Gary and Stanley (Lynette)
Lane, all of Thief River Falls; two sisters, Vicki
Brown and Laurie (Larry) Panek, all of Thief River
Falls.
Mary
was preceded in death by her father, her
grandparents and a sister in infancy,
Ilene.
