Lake Falls - Mae Lallier, 90, died Tuesday,
October 16, 2001 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red
Lake Falls.
Mass
of Christian burial was held
Friday,
October 19, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic
Church in Red Lake Falls with Father Tim Bushy
officiating. Special music was presented by St.
Joseph's Church Choir. Casketbearers were Andrew
Lallier, Matthew Lallier, James Lallier, Anders
Christensen, Greg Majeres and Mike Lallier.
Interment was in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery at
Terrebonne with Johnson Funeral Home of Red Lake
Falls in charge of the arrangements.
Mae
Perreault was born on December 7, 1910 in
Terrebonne Township of Red Lake County, the
daughter of John and Elodia (Laundry) Perreault.
She grew up and went to school in Terrebonne
Township and was baptized and confirmed at St.
Anthony's Catholic Church.
On
February 15, 1938, Mae was united in marriage to
Albert Lallier at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
The couple lived and farmed near Terrebonne until
retiring and moving to Brooks in 1977. Albert died
on July 23, 1978. In 1993, Mae moved to Thief River
Falls and since 1996 had resided at Hillcrest
Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls.
She
was a member of St. Ann's Society and enjoyed
sewing, cooking, singing and saying the
rosary.
Mae
is survived by two sons, Martin (Pat) Lallier of
ElMirage, Ariz. and Louis (Madonna) Lallier of
Plummer; a daughter, Irene (William) Townsend of
Mondsville, Ala.; nine grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren; a brother, Noel "Robert"
(Betty) Perreault of Albert Lea; three sisters,
Cecelia (Gerard) Gingras of Lafayetteville, N.C.,
Florence (Calvin) Moen of Baudette and Sister
Sylvia "Gabe" Perreault of Stillwater; and two
sisters-in-law.
She
was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson,
Joe Lallier; her parents; three brothers, George,
Omer and Wallace Perreault; and four sisters,
Stella Derosier, Mona Klooz, Doris Derosier and
