- Steven Kuznia, 86, died on Thursday, April
10, 2003 at Karlstad Healthcare Center in
Karlstad.
Funeral
services were held on Monday, April 14 at
Assumption Catholic Church in Florian with the Rev.
Vincent Miller officiating. Casketbearers were
Rodney Kuznia, Chris Kuznia, Gregory Kuznia,
William Stusynski, John Kuznia, Peter Stusynski,
Douglas Kuznia, Leonard Stusynski, Lepold Kuznia,
Darryl Johansen, Lambert Kuznia, Randy Johansen and
Donald Johansen, Jr. Interment was in Assumption
Catholic Cemetery in Florian.
Steven
Kuznia was born on February 7, 1917, the son of
Michael and Bridget (Zakrzewski) Kuznia, in
Florian. He was baptized and confirmed in the
Catholic faith. He was a lifelong resident of the
Florian community. He farmed for a living, until
his retirement several years ago. Steven was a
member of the Assumption Catholic
Church.
Survivors
include four sisters, Philomae Dziengel of Sauk
Center, Melany Kuznia of St. Louis Park, Rosalia
Stusynski of Strandquist, and Veronica Johansen of
Edinburgh, N.D.; two brothers, Emil of Stephen, and
Mike of Strandquist; a sister-in-law; and several
nieces and nephews.
Steven
was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers,
