Helen Kukowski, 104

Crookston - Helen V. Kukowski, 104, formerly of Greenbush, died on Monday, September 23, 2002 at Villa St. Vincent Nursing Home in Crookston.

Funeral services were held on Friday, September 27 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Greenbush with Rev. Don Braukmann officiating. Music was provided by Sarah Dziengel and Mitch Walski. Larry Dziengel was the reader and Ann Dziengel and Carol Nordman were the eucharist ministers. Andrew Dziengel was the altar boy. Casketbearers were Helen's nephews. Interment was in Blessed Sacrament Cemetery in Greenbush.

Helen V. Kukowski was born on September 7, 1898, the daughter of Peter Paul and Elizabeth (Stanislawski) Kukowski in Leo. She grew up and attended school in Leo. She served as a caregiver for many years at several different locations. Helen lived in Greenbush before moving to Crookston in 1990.

Survivors include one brother, Al R. (Betty) of Greenbush; two sisters, Sister Josephine Kukowski of Crookston and Marie Chrzanowski of Greenbush; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. A00003B2002OT02
