Lakes - Betty Kuball, 89, formerly of Trail,
died Thursday, January 31, 2002 at St. Mary's
Regional Health Care in Detroit Lakes.
Funeral
services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday,
February 16, 2002 at Johnson Funeral Service Chapel
in Oklee with Rev. Joseph Abrahamson officiating.
Marian Marquis will be the organist. Interment will
be in Clearwater Lutheran Cemetery at
Trail.
Visitation
will be held for one hour prior to
services.
Betty
Anderson was born on November 12, 1912 in Johnson
Township of Polk County near Trail, the daughter of
Stener and Emma (Trydahl) Anderson. She was raised
in the Trail area and attended a rural school.
Betty moved to Pennsylvania where she was employed
for a time.
She
returned to Minnesota and on February 17, 1951,
married Walter Kuball at Moorhead. The couple
farmed near Borup. Walter died on March 12, 1988.
Betty returned to her home farm near Trail and
resided there until July 4, 2000 when she moved to
St. Mary's Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes where she
had since resided.
Survivors
include a sister, Violet Clark of rural Trail, and
several nieces and nephews.
Betty
was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five
brothers, Ole Anderson, Oscar Anderson, Selmer
Anderson, Henry Anderson and Arnold Anderson; and
