Floyd Kolden, 68

Everett, Wash. - Floyd Kolden, 68, died on Friday, November 29, 2002 at Sunrise View Nursing Home in Everett, Wash.

Floyd Delano Kolden was born on August 4, 1924, the son of Thorval and Palma Kolden in Holt. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952. He served in the Air Force for four years, serving mostly in Germany. Floyd worked as a chef at the Thief River Falls Country Club before moving to the Tacoma-Seattle area, where he was employed by Pacific Bell Telephone Company. After moving to Everett, Wash., he worked for the Foss Tugs as a chef, until his retirement.

Survivors include six brothers, Rueben (Ethel) of Duluth, Orval (Makia) of Lake Forest, Ill., Earl (Marge) of Big Spring, Texas, Jim (Connie) of Shoreview, Roger (Diane) of Spearfish, S.D. and Kendell (Vickie) of Thief River Falls; and three sisters, Bernie Ruble of Austin, Lyla (Al) Burnett of Puyallup, Wash. and Janet (Bill) Doxrude of Stevens Point, Wisc.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother. A00003B2002DC11
