Red
Lake Falls - Isabelle Knott, 83, died
Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at her home in Red Lake
County.
A
funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday,
April 27, at St.
Joseph's
Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls with Father Tim
Bushy officiating. Kathie Knott was the organist,
and St. Joseph's Church Choir provided special
music. Isabelle's grandchildren served as
casketbearers. Interment was in St. Joseph's
Cemetery in Red Lake Falls with Johnson Funeral
Service in charge of the arrangements.
Isabelle
Myrtle Seeger was born on October 26, 1918 in Red
Lake County, the daughter of Fred and Selma
(Schaper) Seeger. She grew up and attended schools
in Red Lake County.
On
December 19, 1941, Isabelle was united in marriage
to Frank Knott at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Red
Lake Falls. Following their marriage and during the
war, the couple lived in Texas. After Frank was
honorably discharged, they returned to Red Lake
Falls and moved to the Knott family farm where they
had since resided.
Isabelle
was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and
Catholic Daughters Court St. Cecelia. She was also
a member of the Friendly Circle Homemakers Club for
more than 40 years.
She
enjoyed fishing, sewing, traveling in their motor
home, quilting, crocheting, gardening, cooking, and
especially, spending time with her family,
grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Isabelle
is survived by her husband, Frank Sr. of Red Lake
Falls; four daughters, Virginia (Joe) Martinez of
Ferndale, Wash., Beverly (Vernon) Smith of Stephen,
Selma (George) Almond of Merritt Island, Fla., and
Donna (Dan) Radeke of St. Hilaire; three sons,
Frank Jr. (Karen) of Red Lake Falls, Jerry
(Roberta) of Washougal, Wash., and Richard (special
friend Kathryn Enright) of Red Lake Falls; 18
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three
sisters, Lucille Harmoning and Pauline Knott, both
of Red Lake Falls, and Erma Zupan of Hemett,
Calif.
Preceding
her in death were her parents; three grandchildren,
Abbie and Mary Knott and Christine Smith; a sister,
Elsie Harmoning; and three brothers, Harry, Leslie,
