- Timothy Kazmierczak, 67, died on Friday, July
18 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D.
Funeral
services were held on Tuesday, July 22 at St.
Stephens Catholic Church in Stephen. Interment was
in St. Stephens Cemetery.
Timothy
was born in Stephen on May 12, 1935, the son of
John and Leokadia (Kuznia) Kazmierczak. He spent
his early years in the Stephen area.
On
April 27, 1963, he married Marcella Nowacki in
rural Argyle. They made their home in West St.
Paul. In 1966, they moved to Thief River Falls and
then to Stephen in 1982. Tim was a welder by trade
and enjoyed working on the farms around Stephen. He
was a member of the Stephen American Legion, VFW,
Thief River Falls Eagles and Knights of Columbus.
Tim liked to garden, cook, do crafts and deer hunt.
He especially enjoyed spending time with his family
and friends.
Survivors
include his wife, Marcella; daughters, Connie
Pietruszewski of Stephen and Deborah Kazmierczak of
Moorhead; sons, Scot (Jennifer) of Fargo, N.D.,
Wayne (Clare) of Minneapolis, and Brian of Deer
River; four grandchildren; sisters, Scholastica
(Jerome) Walter of South St. Paul and Dorothy
(Gerald) Laundry of St. Paul; and brothers, Dory of
Forest Lake and Anthony of Strandquist.
Tim
was preceded in death by his parents; a son,
Arnold; son-in-law, Gary Pietruszewski; sisters,
Mary Ann and Lucy; and brothers, Mickoli, John and
Henry.
