Stephen
- Victor Kasprowicz, 64, died on Sunday,
September 14, 2003 at his home in rural
Stephen.
Funeral
services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday,
September 18 at the Assumption Catholic Church in
Florian with the Rev. Vincent Miller and Deacon
Courtney Abel officiating. Casketbearers will be
Greg Kostrzewski, Marty Mager, Scott Gratzek,
Phillip Szklarski, Doug Klegstad and Scott Kramer.
Honorary casketbearers will be Lyle Walz, Richard
Hanson, Dennis Walz, Evald Kujava, Andrew Kuznia,
Gerald Klegstad and Irvin Mager. Interment will be
in Assumption Cemetery in Florian. Visitation will
be held after 5 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service
on Wednesday, September 17 (today) at the
Assumption Catholic Church in Florian and for one
hour prior to services at the church on
Thursday.
Victor
Edmund Kasprowicz was born on September 2, 1939 in
Wright Township of Marshall County. He was a
life-long resident of the Florian/Stephen community
and attended school in Florian.
On
September 7, 1963, he married Margaret Kostrzewski.
He farmed with his father and later went to work
for area farmers and then started farming on his
own. He loved spending time with his family and
friends. He enjoyed giving his grandchildren rides
on the tractors and four-wheeler. Victor loved to
work on the farm raising cows, pigs and sheep,
especially the cows.
Survivors
include his wife, Margaret; four children, Cynthia
(Mark) Larson of Strandquist, Donna (Trent) Bazey
of Roseau, Darryle (Jodi) of Stephen and Chad of
Stephen; six grandchildren; and many nieces,
nephews and other relatives.
Victor
was preceded in death by his father, Edmund
Kasprowicz.
