Hope - Edna B. Kankel died Friday, January 18,
2002 at Northridge Care Center in New
Hope.
Private
graveside services were planned at Fort Snelling
National Cemetery with Evans-Nordby Funeral Home of
Brooklyn Center in charge of the
arrangements.
Edna
lived and taught school in Thief River Falls for a
time and was a long-time teacher at Anoka
elementary schools.
Survivors
include a son, Phillip; a sister, Lillian Talge; a
niece and several nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her husband, George.
